Delays expected for Avanti West Coast passengers
Planned engineering works are set to cause disruption to Avanti West Coast Passengers over the August Bank Holiday weekend
Passengers travel from London Euston, and between Stoke-on-Trent and Macclesfield will experience delays over the Bank Holiday weekend with Network Rail carrying out planned engineering works.
Due to the engineering work at London Euston, there will be a reduced timetable, coupled with a number of high profile events in the London area, it will mean that Avanti West Coast trains will be busier than usual.
Upgrade work is also taking place in the Stoke-on-Trent and Macclesfield areas, where rail replacement buses will be running between these stations.
