Ethiopia requires 14 day quarantine – 23/03

To control the spread of coronavirus COVID-19, the Ethiopian Government will quarantine all passengers entering Ethiopia for 14 days.

This requirement applies to both Ethiopian and foreign nationals arriving into Ethiopia after 00:10AM/23rd March 2020. Inbound passengers will be placed in mandatory quarantine at their own expense.

Diplomats will be quarantined at their respective Embassies.

The 14 day quarantine does not apply to transit passengers so long as the onward flight is within 8 hours of arrival in Addis Ababa and you remain in the transit area.
